Kathrin Maurer
Kathrin Maurer works as a Associate professor of German Studies at the University of Southern Denmark and holds a PhD from Columbia University. She is conducting research on visual culture in nineteenth-century Germany (Visualizing History: The Power of the Image in German Historicism, Walter de Gruyter 2013). She also works on representations of war in literature, and leads a research network on drones and aesthetics (www.sdu.dk/researchondrones).
