BiographyI am an Associate Professor in Sustainable Mobilities at Roskilde University, Denmark where I also serve as head of the PhD program in Space, Scoiety and Technology. I play a key role in the Planning education at the university, as well as the new international master in Nordic Urban Planning Studies (staring in September 19) with specific focus on cities and mobilities. I am also deeply involved in the Master in Sustainable Mobilities at Nürtingen/Geislingen University in Germany. I have an interdisciplinary background linking sociology, geography, urban planning and the sociology of technology and my research have been strongly inspired by the mobilities turn and today i first and foremost think of myself as a mobilities researcher. I have for many years been co-organizing the International Cosmobilities Network linking mobilities researcher in Europe and beyond. I am also the co-founder and co-editor of the Routledge Journal Applied Mobilities as well as the Co-founder and Co-editor of the Book-series Cosmobilities, also at Routledge. My newley publish book series Networked Urban Mobilities compiles the extensive work within the last 15 years of mobilities research. Previous my work was primarily focused on investigating everyday life praxis's of mobilities and in my book Mobility in Daily life - between Freedom and Unfreedom I focus on the importance of comprehending the interrelations between praxis, technologies and societies. Currently my focuses is on understanding the interrelation between spatial and digital mobilities and its impacts on everyday life communities, societies and cities.
