Bryan F. Le Beau is retired from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, KS, where he served as Professor of History, Provost, and Vice President for Academic Affairs. He is the author of several books and many articles on American cultural and religious history.

Biography

Bryan F. Le Beau retired in 2017 from the University of  Saint Mary (USM) in Leavenworth, KC, where he served as Professor of History, Provost, and Vice President for Academic Affairs.  Prior to his work at USM, he served as Professor of History and Faculty Endowed Chair in the Humanities at Creighton University, and Professor of History and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC).  Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor of History at UMKC.

Dr. Le Beau is the author of eight books on topics in American cultural and religious history, including "The Story of the Salem Witch Trials" (2nd edition), "The Atheist: Madalyn Murray O'Hair," "Jonathan Dickinson and the Formative Years of American Presbyterianism,"  and most recently, a two volume history of religion in America from the first settlements to the Twenty-First Century."
