Wendy Marie Laybourn

Wendy M. Laybourn is a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research centers on the relationship between racial ideology, racial stratification, and identity formation and the challenges and possibilities people have in reshaping racial meanings. In order to examine these questions, she investigates family, social organizations, and cultural production.
