My research field concerns the history of modern and contemporary political thought, and I published books and articles on the tradition of political realism: N. Machiavelli, R. Michels, G. Mosca, C. Schmitt, G. Miglio, R. Aron, J. Freund, etc. (also translating several texts by many of these authors).
I have also worked on a variety of research projects on some key concepts of political theory, in particularly about “nation” , “nationalism”, “fascism”, and “right”.
