BiographyI am an IP, IT and Cyber associate in FBC’s Corporate Department. My practice concentrates on commercial cyber, information technology, blockchain, intellectual property, privacy and data protection and information security cyber issues, as well as technology and information oriented transactions.
I provide legal counsel to individuals, private companies and public companies with respect to intellectual property, information technology, privacy and data protection, internet law, and media and entertainment law, including with respect to patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets, as well as other related areas, such as commercial cyber issues and dual-use technologies export.
I obtained my Ph.D. (Law) in intellectual property, focusing on copyright law doctrine and theory, and have published scholarship in various legal fields in leading academic journals worldwide, which was cited by the Israeli Supreme Court as well as in the academic literature. I am also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), certified by (ISC)², the world's largest cyber security certification association.
In my academic capacity, I teach the commercial cyber law classes at the Buchmann Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University as an adjunct professor, both for the Tel-Aviv – Berkeley executive L.L.M. program and the L.L.B. program.
Prior to joining the firm and to my Ph.D. studies, I clerked for the Hon. Justice Yoram Danziger of the Israel Supreme Court.
I also has a professional musical background, and during my B.Mus studies in the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv Univeristy I performed worldwide as a percussion player and as a member of orchestras conducted by Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, Gustavo Dudamel, Pierre Boulez and others.
