BiographyLori Przymusinski, MSN, RN a nurse for 35 years, focused her career on the care of adult medical surgical, hemodialysis and emergency room patients primarily in a large teaching health system in Southeastern Michigan, USA for 22 years. She subsequently became an adjunct, later full-time nursing faculty member, at Oakland Community College in Waterford, Michigan in 2006. She was a lecturer and led students through their clinical experiences for 12 years during their fundamentals, orthopedic, neurology and capstone leadership courses. She served as the Dean and Associate Dean of Nursing and Health Professions for four years at the same college guiding the program’s eight-year re-accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) in 2014.
Ms. Przymusinski has continued her mission of service to student success after being appointed to the Chancellor's Executive Council at the same institution as the interim, later permanent, Vice Chancellor for Student Services at Oakland Community College in 2017. In this role she oversees Enrollment, the Registrar's office, Financial Aid, Career Services, Counseling, and campus Deans of Student Services. Oakland Community College is a five campus institution, among one of the top ten largest in the US.
