Richard Busulwa is a lecturer and researcher at Swinburne University of Technology, where he researches accounting, strategy, digital business and entrepreneurship. He is senior partner at Novus People, one of Australia's leading sales and service team management advisory firms. He is also co-founder of Leapin Digital Keys, the world's first NB IoT smart locks platform. Richard previously worked in the high velocity IT and telecommunications industries as managing director, chief operating officer and chief financial officer within early stage and then medium sized and large firms. Earlier, he worked in middle management as a divisional manager and business unit manager within the telecommunications industry and within a large hospital network in the healthcare industry . He is an early stage investor in cloud, IoT, blockchain, Ai, healthcare, property and niche professional services firms. Richard initially trained as a management accountant and business systems analyst, while working in sales management and marketing.
