Dr Heather Hunter-Crawley is a writer and independent researcher specialising in religion, art and the senses in the Roman empire and Late Antiquity. She is the author of numerous articles on ancient Christianity, Roman religion, and sensory archaeology, has given research papers across the UK, Europe and USA, and held research and teaching posts at the University of Bristol and Swansea University.
