British born, Dr. Jonathan Pass is Lecturer in International Relations in the Department of Public Law at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide. His research areas and publications focus on IR/IPE theory, critical realist philosophy, the ideas of Antonio Gramsci, American hegemony, transatlantic relations, the dynamics of China’s ‘passive revolution’ and cybersecurity.

Biography

Resident in Spain for 20 years, Jonathan is Lecturer in International Relations/Relaciones Internacionales in the Department of Public Law at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide. His research areas and publications focus on IR/IPE theory, critical realist philosophy, the ideas of Antonio Gramsci, American hegemony, transatlantic relations, the dynamics of China’s ‘passive revolution’ and cybersecurity. Prior to academia he worked in advertising and media in London, where his group, incomprehensively, failed to set the music world alight.
