Biography

Nasir raised 3 children in the Silicon Valley, California who are grown up now. Having spent 40 years of his life in Silicon Valley, California, Nasir had a dream of authoring a book on a hot computer science topic. Nasir holds a Master’s in Management Science & Engineering and an MBA from Stanford University. He is also an Oracle Certified Professional (DBA track), a Certified Project Management Professional – Lic. # 1469312, Certified Scrum Master – Lic. # 100991 and a Certified Big Data Analyst. He's an experienced manager of I.T projects related to multi-billion dollar corporate mergers & divestiture, application migration, server upgrades, database upgrades, data conversion, cloning and integration of supply chain management, ERP and CRM application modules at Electronic Arts, Wells Fargo Bank, NetApp, Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (now Western Digital), Hewlett Packard, Amazon/Lab126 and Albertsons. In the key role of Data Integrator for multi billion dollar corporate Mergers & Divestiture, he has implemented hyper-converged infrastructure from concept to business realization comprising of Web Application Servers, Load Balancers, Massive Big Data Databases running on Hadoop clusters (SANstorage) and inter-connected commodity servers.
