Bodh, as an Indian Economic Service officer of 1987 batch, prides in 30 years of experience in six Ministries of India and authorship of several literary and academic books, and is currently an Adviser to the Ministry of Agriculture for last ten years. His published works are: Mount Kailash and the Wonder Lake; Tales from the Buddha’s Life; Zeroing in on Happiness; Global Digital Economy & 11th Plan ICT Equity Issues and short stories and poems published in various national English dailie


P.C. Bodh is a senior Indian Economic Service officer with 30 years of experience working in six Ministries of the Government of India and several academic and literary books to his credit. In his ten years in the Ministry of Agriculture as a Director and as an Adviser since 2014 he contributed to: policy making, convening India Agricultural Outlook Forum, research management and monitoring, editing and managing: Agricultural Situation in India, Agricultural Statistics at a Glance, State of Indian Agriculture; and published Glimpses of Indian Agriculture 2018, Oxford University Press.

Areas of Research / Professional Expertise

    Global digital economy, agro-economics, water-resources economics and tourism and social issues.  

Personal Interests

    Writing and reading poetry and fiction, and listening to Indian music, photography and nature exploration, understanding nature of human existence and realities of life and universe.
