Michael Hatherell

I am an academic from Deakin University, currently seconded to the Australian Defence College in Canberra. My research interests mainly focus on the ideational domain and the role of political leaders in using ideas, narratives and claims to establish their political authority. I am also keen to explore the impact of these ideas and narratives on domestic politics, foreign policy and grand strategy.
