Biography

Started my academic journey in Sheffield UK with a BA in East Asian Studies with focus on China where I spend 2 years on a scholarship in Nanjing University. I further developed an interest in the cultures of the Global South by receiving an MA on Religious Studies in Padova and a second MA in Global Studies in Freiburg spending also time in Southeast Asia and South America for a year. I have ever since been doing research in these particular areas.
