Biography

Geoff Cox has a 40+ year career in higher education leadership and administration.  He is currently the Senior Associate Dean for administration and finance in Stanford's Graduate School of Education.  Prior to that, he was president of Alliant International University from 2004 to 2015.  From 2000 to 2004 he worked for Unext, one of the first fully online ventures in higher education. In still earlier phases of his career he served as Vice Provost for Institutional Planning at Stanford, and Director of Financial Planning and Budgets at the University of Chicago.  He is a former commissioner and vice-chair of the Western Senior College and University Commission (WASC), the regional accrediting body based in California.
