BiographyI am a qualitative social sciences researcher with 8 years’ experience in the academic and not-for-profit research sector, including university teaching, lecturing and postgraduate research supervision. I am passionate about research initiatives that promote community development and increased social and health awareness, as well as academic research into the areas of critical men's studies and investigations of sex, gender and sexuality in media.
I am currently based at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society, La Trobe University as a Research Fellow. Here I am working across, as well as a leading a number of research projects exploring health and well-being of LGBTI+ people, studies into sex, sexuality and sexual practices, and men, masculinity, and bodies.
