Hi, I have keen interest in childhood and trauma studies. My area of specialization is Partition literature particularly the study of contemporary narratives/discourses on Partition as a cultural trauma. Film studies pertinent to Partition and art on the cartographic division of India has been of special interest to me. Instances of conflict within the subcontinent like 1984 anti sikh riots, Godhra, Kashmir conflict with special focus on child as a victim is currently my area of research.

Biography

I have almost two decades of experience of teaching undergraduate students . Communication skills, partition literature, film studies, postcolonial literature, childhood, nostalgia have been the domain of my research. My doctoral thesis was on the representation of child and body in Partition literature .
