Biography

I am a Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) state registered arts psychotherapist, specialising in dramatherapy and environmental arts therapy. I am a full member of the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth) and I also hold training membership with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the International Association for Group Psychotherapy & Group Processes (IAGP). Further to my membership of professional associations, I am also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) - awarded for outstanding achievements in social progress and development. I have a particular interest in the arts as a method of healing in psychological therapy as well as the interface between group methods, such as psychodrama and social dreaming, and the emerging field of ecopsychology.
