Sustainability is foundational to Dr. Armon’s theory-to-practice teacher preparation and transdisciplinary courses taught with colleagues in Arts, History, and Peace and Justice disciplines. Comprehensive sustainability education courses have occurred in classrooms, gardens, and on urban and rural farms. Her conference papers, publishing, and research focus on relational, justice-oriented sustainability education that promotes transformative learning. Prioritizing Sustainability Education, is her most recent publication, edited with Stephen Scoffham, Canterbury Christ Church University, and Chara Armon, Villanova University (Routledge, 2020).
