Håkan Karlsson
I am Full Professor in Archaeology at the Department of Historical Studies, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. My major focus of research is the political dimensions of archaeology and heritage, the archaeology of the contemporary past, and the political relationship between U.S. and Cuba. I am co-leader of a number of projects in Cuba and Sweden approaching these themes, and I have written several books and articles on these topics.
