I am an Associate Professor in the History Department at Bronx Community College, which is part of the City University of New York. I earned my PhD in modern U.S. history at Stony Brook University in 2010 and my BA in History at McGill University. I am proud product of the New York City public school system, graduating from Brooklyn Tech High School. Born in the Bronx, raised in Queens, life-long Mets fan.
Areas of Research / Professional Expertise
My research focuses on the intersection of intellectual political ideas, political movements, and foreign policy. My book examines how the debate surrounding the Vietnam War changed modern American conservatism and the Republican Party.
