Novel method for research on exposure to nonlinear vibration transferred by suspension of vehicle

Published: Apr 17, 2021 by International Journal of Non-Linear MechanicsVolume 91, 1 May 2017, Pages 170-180
Authors: Rafał Burdzik

The paper presents novel method for research on exposure to nonlinear vibration of passenger car suspension as nonlinear dynamical system. The paper addresses results of analysis of application of one of the time-frequency representation techniques to the identification of structure of vibration. The investigations conducted confirm considerable susceptibility to changes in the technical condition of shock absorber with regard to the assessment of human exposure to vibrations.

Multidimensional identification of resonances analysis of strongly nonstationary signals, case study: Diagnostic and condition monitoring of vehicle's suspension system

Published: Apr 17, 2021 by Applied AcousticsVolume 144, 15 January 2019, Pages 51-63
Authors: Rafał Burdzik

The paper presents novel methodology for multidimensional analysis of strongly nonstationary signals. This methodology contained the identification of working cycles, dedicated signal processing methods for each of identified segments of signal as time, frequency and TFR distributions of each signal segments. It allows to observe influence of increase of defects based on narrow and precise resonances windows.

Research on the influence of engine rotational speed to the vibration penetration into the driver via feet - multidimensional analysis

Published: Apr 17, 2021 by Journal of Vibroengineering Volume 15, Issue 4, 2013, Pages 2114-2123
Authors: Rafał Burdzik

The manuscript provides a discussion on the studies and analysis of influence of engine rotational speed to the vibration penetration into the driver via feet. For the driving safety and comfort it is very important what kind and values of vibration are transferred to car body. The experiments were conducted on the car vehicle which was placed on the special test racks. It allows to lessen the road roughens impact on the suspension and the car body.
