Areas of Research / Professional Expertise
I have conducted research on social development groups for children with autism spectrum disorders. More recently, I have written several articles about the meanings of various parts of the myth of the Golden Fleece. I am now interested in how new communicative technologies are affecting psychotherapy practice and our interactions with our patients.
Personal Interests
I enjoy traveling a lot, especially when there are opportunities to visit museums and see great art. Several of our trips have been organized just around that. I lived in Germany prior to the fall of the wall, and go back often to visit friends there. I have a good speaking ability of German, and have used this in my practice on occasion. I am a tropical fish hobbyist and have a hard time thinking why I don't need another aquarium.
