Biography

Libora Oates-Indruchova writes mainly on cultural issues of late state socialism and the transition period, focusing on the Czech Republic. She held research Fellowships at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, University of Edinburgh (Andrew Mellon Fellowship); Collegium Budapest Institute for Advanced Study (Junior Fellowship and Marie Curie Fellowship); and Central European University in Budapest. She has taught at Palacky, Charles, Pardubice, and Masaryk Universities in the Czech Republic, and at Szeged University in Hungary, as well as was a Senior Researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for European History and Public Spheres in Vienna.
