Enrico Coiera

Enrico Coiera is dual trained in medicine and computer science. He is an Australian born research scientist and has worked in clinical practice, in industry at Hewlett-Packard Research Laboratories in Bristol UK, and is now in academia. His research cover a wide territory, exploring the different ways humans and technologies come together to support healthcare. He is particularly known for work on clinical communication and interruption, the safety of e-health, and decision support technologies.
