Mahan says, “My recent work is focused on the mediation of religion and the forms of religion in digital culture. My work has also focused on theological engagements with both fine and popular film, literature and television. I have had the delight of serving on ecumenical juries at the Montreal, Cannes’ and Berlin film festivals.” He is affiliate faculty at the Center for Media, Religion and Culture, University of Colorado at Boulder.
