Biography
Madhavi Nawana Parker is a behaviour consultant who specialises in social and emotional development, resilience, wellbeing, positive discipline and anxiety. Madhavi works with young people and their families to build better skills that encourage good communication, Stronger relationships and resilience. Madhavi also works closely with teachers, educators and health professionals to provide strategies to support and encourage young people.Madhavi's work spans over twenty years following studies in psychology and rehabilitation. She works in schools and her private Practise with young people with anxiety, learning difficulties, attention disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
She regularly presents to audiences on the topic of resilience, positive discipline , social emotional development and anxiety.
Madhavi is co author to three social skills program publications, 'What's the buzz for primary aged students ' 'what's the buzz for early learners ' and Archie's big book of friendship adventures'
Her new book, 'The resilience and wellbeing toolbox: a guide for teachers, educators and health professionals ' is due late 2016 by Routledge.
