What inspired you to write Style Bible?
Every time I would present style seminars, my corporate clients (and attendees) would ask me to recommend resources they could read after I left that would help continue my message. After recommending other books from my own fashion library I decided to create the perfect resource to accompany my specific message about what to wear to work. That’s how Style Bible: What to Wear to Work was born!
What was your favorite part of the writing and publishing process?
Writing Style Bible was a way to place all my thoughts on my favorite topic in one place. My closet is where I go to become “me” – put on my armor to face the day but my office is where I went to spend time with my thoughts and translate fashion advice. I enjoyed creating a manual that works across different ages, budgets, and body types as well as for men and women.
Who do you hope reads your book?
Anyone who walks into their closet every day and says “I have nothing to wear.”
What do you want them to get from it?
My clients. They inspire and challenge me daily.
What is your favorite book? or What are you reading right now?
I love mysteries! There is always a James Patterson, John Grisham, or David Baldacci novel on my Kindle. When I was a kid, i thought the ultimate job was to be a lawyer on TV — I loved the wardrobe, the action, and the detective work… Now, I dress a lot of lawyers
