Experts on Engineering: Dos and Don’ts for Best Practices in International Teamwork

Adedeji Badiru, Professor of Systems Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology, showcases a succinct list of the “do’s and don’ts” for best practices in international teamwork, including mindfulness of existing systems and consideration of other perspectives.

Working with people from other cultures can be difficult, but when collaborating on research projects and sharing information with international colleagues, it is imperative to approach the engagement with an open mind and a willingness to learn from one another.

Dr. Badiru, who has authored over 30 books, 34 book chapters, and 80 technical journal articles, briefly discusses his 12 recommendations for how to be successful in collaborating with researchers and colleagues from different countries.
