Towards an Ethical Praxis in Early Childhood: interview with EECERA President Christine Pascal

Christine Pascal, Director of CREC and President of EECERA, presents the Towards an Ethical Praxis in Early Childhood book series.

Ideal for those at the front line of decision making and professional practice, the series offers a unique fusion of research, theoretical, conceptual and philosophical perspectives, values and ethics, and professional practice. In this short video filmed at the 2017 EECERA conference in Bologna, Christine Pascal explores how this exciting early childhood education series came about. She also looks to the future, outlining the forthcoming titles in the series, and invites potential contributors to get involved.

The European Early Childhood Education Research Association (EECERA) publish the European Early Childhood Education Research Journal (EECRJ). EECERA welcomes and encourages membership and contributions from across the world to share and participate in its European perspective. EECERJ aims to provide a forum for the publication of original research in early childhood education in Europe. With this as its principal focus, it should be emphasised that its definition of education embraces care and that its approach is multidisciplinary, embracing all related fields including psychology, sociology, child health and social work.
