About the Series

Routledge Health Management

Routledge Health Management is a comprehensive and well-balanced series of textbooks on core management topics, specifically oriented towards the health care field. In almost all Western countries health care is in a state of radical reorientation. This series aims to answer the important contemporary questions such as:

  • How can we meet the needs of increasingly empowered ‘consumers'?
  • How do we incorporate ‘evidence based’ modes of working, re-motivate health care professionals and contain costs, all at the same time?

Written by experts in the field each book focuses on a different aspect of healthcare management, including information systems, patient flow systems, human resource management, change management and healthcare evaluation.
