Biography
The late A. W. Hendry was Professor and Chairman of the School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. B. P. Sinha is Reader in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. S. R. Davies is an Honorary Fellow of the Department of Civil Engineering, also at the University of Edinburgh.
