    Biography

    Steve Muscroft

"I am currently studying at a College where they use the JTL book as the core text. I bought Muscroft's 'Plumbing' as I've always found it useful to have more than just the one reference. Then if I don't understand one explanation I can try the other and see if that makes more sense.

Throughout this year I have referred to Muscroft's book time and time again. Like its JTL rival it has a chapter on each of the subjects that are assessed in the technical certificate. But I found the descriptions and illustrations easier to understand, and the multiple choice questions at the end are a fantastic bonus, and really help you prepare for the tests. In fact, they are as good as those covered in the JTL's revision book, which you have to pay twenty odd pounds for.

I would highly recommend this text to anyone wanting to learn the basics of plumbing, which is not just hot and cold water, central heating etc, but also lead work and guttering."
