      Biography

      Juan Luis Alcazar MD, PhD, has been Co-Chairman of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Medical School of the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain, since 2016; and Full Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2015. He has run training courses in centers such as the Center Europeen de Formation Practique à la Chirurgie Endoscopique, Perigueux, France, and the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, U.S.A. He is a member of the editorial board of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and reviewer for major impact journals such as Human Reproduction, Fertility and Sterility, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Lancet Oncology, International Journal of Gynecological Cancer, Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maturitas, Gynecologic Endocrinology and Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics. He has authored or co-authored more than 200 papers in peer-review journals, edited a book about Gynecology and Obstetrics for medical students, and contributed chapters to more than 30 books.
