Biography
Brad Hokanson is the Mertie W. Buckman Professor of Design Education at the University of Minnesota, USA. He has received multiple teaching awards and has a diverse academic record, including degrees in Art, Architecture, and Urban Design, and a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology.
After 25 years teaching instructional design and instructional graphics to students who do not consider themselves creative, but who want and need to exercise creativity in their studies and future work, I welcome this volume as a remarkable new resource. Its genius lies in merging solid theory around creativity with concrete activities tested by hundreds of students in Dr. Hokanson’s own course, all presented in straightforward prose and organized for easy understanding.
