Biography

Ahmed F. El-Sayed is a Professor of Aerospace and Mechanical Power Engineering at Zagazig University, Egypt, since 1983. He served as a Senior Engineer at EGYPTAIR for 10 years and has collaborated with Westinghouse, Rolls-Royce, and European Wind Energy Projects. Dr. El-Sayed has authored 15 textbooks, including History and Evolution of Aircraft (Taylor & Francis, 2024) and Foreign Object Debris and Damage in Aviation (Taylor & Francis, 2022). He has published over 100 technical papers on aircraft propulsion, engine design, and renewable energy. His accolades include the Distinguished Professor Award from Zagazig University (2009) and the Golden Tamikum necklace for scientists on the Egyptian National Honor Roll (2020).
