Biography

Soko Tomita holds an MA and a PhD from the Shakespeare Institute at the University of Birmingham, UK. She is a professor of English and has taught English Language and Shakespeare at Takushoku University in Tokyo for 25 years. She was also a Dean at the University. She compiled A Bibliographical Catalogue of Italian Books Printed in England 1558-1603 (2009) and is the author of several articles on Shakespeare and his contemporaries, and Anglo-Italian relations in Elizabethan drama. Masahiko Tomita graduated from Waseda University in Tokyo. He worked for Toshiba Corporation and was a Senior Fellow at the Social Infrastructure Systems Company in Toshiba and Executive Vice President at NEC Toshiba Space Systems Ltd.
