Quantum Field Theory (QFT) is the essential framework for modern theoretical physics. From particle physics and cosmology to condensed matter and quantum gravity — QFT underpins how physicists describe nature at its most fundamental level. However, due to its complexity, QFT has often been one of the most intimidating subjects to learn for generations of students.  This book provides a... Read more

Biography

Lu Heng Sunny Yu is a theoretical physicist and Lecturer at City, University of London. Sunny was previously Lecturer at the University of California, Irvine and Teaching Fellow at the University of Southampton, and holds PhD, Master's, and BSc degrees from the University of California, Irvine, the University of Cambridge, and University College London (UCL), respectively. While his research focuses on the quantum field theory of gravity, Dr. Yu continues to maintaine a strong interest in the education of mathematics and physics, improving teaching resources to better communicate mathematics and physics concepts to learners of all levels.
