    Biography

    Arti Vaish is a professor in the Department of Computer Engineering,

    School of Engineering and Technology at O. P. Jindal University, Raigarh,

    CG, India. She earned her PhD degree from Netaji Subhash Institute of

    Technology, Delhi University, New Delhi, India (2012). She has registered

    20 patents and published and presented more than a hundred research

    papers in SCI indexed/Scopus indexed international journals and at

    international and national conferences. She has authored six books. She

    has over 18 years of rich experience in academia and research. She is a

    recipient of the 2021 Who’s Who in the World® Lifetime Achievement

    Award and was successfully nominated as a candidate for the 2018–2021

    edition of Who’s Who in America. She received an academic excellence

    award from WeGrow and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium

    Enterprises (MSME) in 2020 and the best researcher award in 2020 from

    the Institute of Technical and Scientific Research (ITSR) Foundation. She

    had guided six PhD students. Dr Arti has been a reviewer for several

    archived journals at the international level: Progress in Electromagnetic

    Research, Wireless Personal Communication, the IETE Journal of

    Research, and WSEAS Transactions, to name a few of them.

     

    Pankaj Kumar Goswami earned B.Tech., M.Tech, and PhD degrees in the

    area of Electronic Engineering and has 15 years of teaching experience

    in reputed organisations. He has more than 30 international publications

    in peer-reviewed journals, including IEEE Explore, which are Scopus and

    SCI indexed. His main areas of research are machine learning, the internet

    of things, wideband antenna designs, cognitive radios, and power quality

    issues in non-linear electronic devices. He has organised several national

    and international conferences, symposia, and webinars. Dr Goswami has

    also registered several patents in the fields of antenna design, the internet

    of things, and machine-learning-based applications under the Intellectual

    Property Rights of the Government of India. He is an e-educator in the

    field of machine learning using Python. He is actively associated in NAAC

    SSR preparations at university interfaces and has visited several times the

    SAARC countries of Nepal, Bhutan, the seven sisters (Arunachal Pradesh,

    Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura), and the

    “brother” state Sikkim for various academic promotional activities. He

    is a professional member of several national and international bodies

    such as, IEEE, IETE and ISTE. Dr Goswami has been involved in various

    educational outreach activities through online sessions on artificial intelligence,

    machine learning, and smart antennas.

     

    Surbhi Bhatia holds a doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering from

    Banasthali University, which she earned in 2018 in the area of machine

    learning and social media analytics. She earned project management professional

    certification from the Project Management Institute, USA. She

    is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Data Science,

    School of Science, Engineering and Environment, University of Salford,

    Manchester, United Kindgom. She has more than ten years of teaching

    experience in different universities in India and Saudi Arabia. She is also

    a consultant in the Research Lab, India. She is an editorial board member

    for the International Journal of Hybrid Intelligence and for SN Applied

    Sciences. She has registered eight national and international patents in

    India, Australia, and the USA. She has published many papers in reputed

    journals and in high indexing databases (SCI, SCIE, Scopus, Web of

    Science, ESCI). She currently serves as a guest editor of special issues for

    the journals SN Applied Sciences, Computer, Materials and Continua,

    and Internet of Things. She has delivered talks as a keynote speaker at

    IEEE conferences and in faculty development programmes. She has conducted

    workshops for All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

    programmers and chaired technical sessions at many conferences. She has

    authored two books published by Springer and Wiley. She has also edited

    seven books with CRC Press, Elsevier, and Springer. She was selected

    for the prestigious “Best Young National Award” by the IRDP group of

    journals in India. She has had many projects approved by the Ministry

    of Education, Saudi Arabia and holds a Deanship of Scientific Research

    in Saudi Arabia and DST, India. Her areas of interest are Data Mining,

    Machine Learning, Sentiment Analysis, Natural Language Processing,

    and Data Analytics.

     

    Mokhtar Shouran earned a BSc degree in Control Engineering from the

    College of Electronic Technology, Bani Walid, Libya, in 2011. He earned

    an MSc degree with distinction in Electronics and Information Technology

    from the University of South Wales, Treforest, UK, in 2017. He was also

    awarded a certificate of excellence. Shouran is currently pursuing a PhD

    degree in Load Frequency Control in Power Systems at the Wolfson

    Centre for Magnetics, Cardiff University, Cardiff, UK. His research interests

    include Optimisation Algorithms, Fuzzy Logic Control, Sliding Mode

    Control, Traditional Control, and Power System Stability and Control.
