    Biography

    Dr. Vipin Kumar Sharma received his Doctoral Degree with specialization in Non-traditional Machining Methods from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala with NIRF ranking 23. He is currently working as Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut. He has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience related to mechanical engineering. Dr. Sharma has published 12 research papers in reputed journals with SCI indexing and 10 in international and national conferences. Dr. Sharma also visited China for paper presentation of the paper in METADOR conference in year 2019. His research interest includes hybrid composites with Rare Earth Metals, Casting methods, Optimization techniques and Design of experiments etc. Dr. Sharma is also a reviewer of many reputed journals as Taylor’s & Francis publications (USA), Springer publications (Germany), SCIEP Publications (USA), Journal of Materials Research Express (IOP, Publishers, U.K.) and Advances in Materials Science (Hindawi). Currently, he is working in the fatigue analysis of hybrid composites reinforced with rare earth metals.

    Dr. Ashwani Kumar received Ph.D. (Mechanical Engineering) in the area of Mechanical Vibration and Design. He is currently working as Head of Department Mechanical Engineering (Gazetted Officer Class I) at Technical Education Department, Uttar Pradesh (Government of Uttar Pradesh) India. He has more than 11 years of research and academic experience in mechanical engineering. He is Associate Editor for International Journal of Mathematical, Engineering and Management Sciences (IJMEMS) Indexed in ESCI/Scopus and DOAJ. He is editorial board member of 4 international journals and acts as review board member of 20 prestigious (Indexed in SCI/SCIE/Scopus) international journals with high impact factor. In addition he has published 83 research articles in journals, book chapters and conferences. He has authored/co-authored cum edited 13 books of Mechanical and Materials Engineering. He is associated with International Conferences as Invited Speaker/ Advisory Board/Review Board member. He has been awarded as Best Teacher for excellence in academic and research. In his career, he has successfully guided 4 M.E./M.Tech theses and currently guiding 1 Ph.D. and 1 M.Tech thesis. In administration he is working as coordinator for AICTE, E.O.A., Nodal officer for PMKVY-TI Scheme (Government of India) and internal coordinator for CDTP scheme (Government of Uttar Pradesh). He is currently involved in the research area of Machine Learning, Advanced Materials, Machining & Manufacturing Techniques, Biodegradable Composites, Heavy Vehicle Dynamics and Coriolis Mass Flow Sensor

    Dr Manoj Gupta was a former Head of Materials Division of the Mechanical Engineering Department and Director designate of Materials Science and Engineering Initiative at NUS, Singapore. He did his Ph.D. from University of California, Irvine, USA (1992), and postdoctoral research at University of Alberta, Canada (1992). He is currently among top 0.6% researchers as per Stanford’ List, among Top 1% Scientist of the World Position by The Universal Scientific Education and Research Network and among 2.5% among scientists as per ResearchGate. To his credit are: (i) Disintegrated Melt Deposition technique and (ii) Hybrid Microwave Sintering technique, an energy efficient solid-state processing method to synthesize alloys/micro/nano-composites. He has published over 600 peer reviewed journal papers and owns two US patents and one Trade Secret. His current h-index is 72, RG index is 48.3 and citations are greater than 18000. He has also co-authored eight books, published by John Wiley, Springer and MRF - USA. He is Editor-in-chief/Editor of twelve international peer reviewed journals. A multiple award winner, he actively collaborate/visit Japan, France, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, China, USA and India as a visiting researcher, professor and chair professor.

    Dr. Vinod Kumar received his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree, in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab University in 1995 and in 1999. Then he received Doctoral Degree specialization in Non-traditional Machining Methods from Thapar University. He is currently working as Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department at Thapar University. He joined Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, in June 2000 as Lecturer. His strong hold is practical know-how of Non-traditional machining methods. Dr.Vinod Kumar has successfully completed research project funded by the agencies. Dr. Kumar has published 58 research papers in reputed journals and 32 in international and national conferences. His research interest includes Powder Metallurgy, Casting methods, Optimization techniques, Design of experiments etc. He has supervised five Ph.D. theses and currently supervising two Ph.D. candidates in the area of Powder Metallurgy, Casting methods, Optimization techniques, Design of experiments etc. More than 50 Master’s theses have been completed so far under his supervision. Having practical orientation and research inclination, he architected Thapar University’s Machining Labs of the department. Dr. Kumar being a captive orator has a long list of expert lectures delivery at renowned Institutes. Dr. Kumar is reviewer of many reputed journals as Taylor & Francis publications, USA, Springer publications, Germany, SCIEP Publications, USA.

    Dr. Dinesh K Sharma is working as Dean Academics in IIMT University Meerut. He has worked as Deputy Director in National Ecology and Environment Foundation (NEEF) Mumbai. Prior to the present position, he has also worked as Dean Academics and HOD in different institutions/universities. He has completed PhD (in Solar PV System, 2015), ME (Power Electronics, 2006) and BE (Electronics & Communication Engg., 2003). He has more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. Prof. Sharma has presented and published more than 22 papers in international journals and conferences of repute e.g. IEEE, Springer etc. he has authored a book on Non-conventional Energy Resources, 2006. He is the recipient of Young Researcher Fund to attend6th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC-6) held in Kyoto, Japan in 2014. He has also presented at 13thAgricultural Science Congress (13ASC) at University of Agriculture Sciences, Bangalore in 2017. He is the member of various professional societies including ISEIS Canada, IAEng. Hong Kong and ICTP Italy. Dr. Sharma is a reviewer and editorial board member of many international journal of repute such as IEEE, Taylor and Francis etc. His areas of interest include Solar Energy, Green Buildings and Sustainable Development.

    Dr. Subodh Kumar Sharma received B.E., M.Tech and Doctorate in philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical engineering from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, Haryana. He has 21 years of research experience in academic. Presently he is working as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, KIET Group of Institute, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad, India. He is also working as a Head of Industrial research and consultancy centre in his parent institution. His research interests include thermal analysis and mechanical analysis of internal combustion diesel engine combustion chamber components, Nano additives and Thermal barrier coatings. He is an author of two books viz. Strength of Material and Basic fundamentals of Mechanical and Civil engineering. He has published many research papers in referred national, international journals and conferences.
