Biography
Dr. Nirmal Mazumder is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biophysics, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, India. His research interests include development of microscopy-spectroscopy techniques, biomedical devices, biophotonics, smart materials, and microfluidics and its biomedical applications. He has published more than 125 research articles in the peer-reviewed international journals, 20 books, 45 book chapters, and several poster/oral/invited presentations in National and International conferences.
Dr. Yury V. Kistenev is a Professor at the Tomsk State University (TSU). He received his PhD degree in optics in 1987 and a doctoral degree in physics and mathematics in 1997. He is the author of more than 150 journal papers and has written four books as author and editor. His current research interests include laser molecular imaging, laser spectroscopy, and machine learning.
Dr. Igor K. Lednev is a Distinguished Professor and Williams-Raycheff Endowed Chair in Chemistry at the University at Albany, State University of New York. He earned his PhD from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Dr. Lednev is the founding director of the Center for Biophotonics Technology and Artificial Intelligence and co-founder of two startup companies. He served as an advisory member on the White House Subcommittee for Forensic Science and has co-authored over 300 publications and 12 patents, achieving an h-index of 80. His honors include the Charles Mann Award for Applied Raman Spectroscopy and the Gold Medal Award from the Society for Applied Spectroscopy.
