Biography
Niharika Singh, PhD, is currently working as Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India. She has more than eight years of experience in teaching and research. Her areas of research are artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, soft computing, and image processing. She has authored many research papers in various conferences and journals. She has also edited various books in varied domains. She has been associated with various conferences as technical program committee member and session chair. She received her doctorate degree and master‘s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, India, while her bachelor‘s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering is from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, India.
Thipendra P. Singh, PhD, is currently a Professor in the School of Computer Science Engineering & Technology at Bennett University, Greater Noida, India. Prior to this, he has been associated with UPES University and Sharda University, both India. He has 26 years of rich experience. He is supervising PhD scholars with French and UK universities also. He is a widely traveled academician and has participated in various platforms in several countries, including UK, France, UAE, and Singapore. He has been the editor of 10 books on various allied topics of computer science. Dr. Singh is a senior member of IEEE and member of various other professional bodies, including the Institution of Engineers (India), Association for Computing Machinery, EAI, International Society for Technology in Education, International Association of Engineers, etc., and is also on the editorial/reviewer panels of several journals. He is a fellow of IETA-India since 2019. He is also in the boards of studies of several universities, both in India and abroad. He has been associated with many conferences throughout India as well as abroad as chair, organizing committee member, technical program committee member, and session chair. He holds a doctorate in Computer Science from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India.
Brian Azzopardi, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer at Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) and Consultant and Visiting Senior Lecturer at the University of Malta (UM). He has held many senior academic and research positions in United Kingdom and Lithuania and has served the industry, government agencies, and ministries of research since 1998. He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, EI, Royal Society of Chemistry, and Chamber of Engineers. In 2008, he received the Eur. Ing. title followed by the CEng and the EI Chartered Energy Engineer titles in 2012. Dr. Azzopardi is the editor and co-author of two books and more than 100 research papers in peer-reviewed impact-listed journals and conferences, and a frequently invited speaker.
