Biography

Dr. Kuldeep Bauddh is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development, RGSC, Banaras Hindu University, U.P., India. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, UP, India in 2014. Dr. Bauddh is currently engaged in teaching the thrust areas of environmental sciences like Environmental Pollution and Management, Environmental Toxicology, Hazardous Waste Management etc. His main research areas are phytoremediation, restoration of contaminated sites and environmental sustainability. He has published ten Books (Edited) Elsevier, Springer Nature and CRC Press. He published 68 research papers in national and international journals and 35 book chapters. Dr. Bauddh is Section Editor (Biodegradation, Bioremediation and Waste Management) of the journal Environmental Sustainability publishing with Springer Nature.

Dr. Swati Sachdev is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at Department of Liberal Education, Era University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. She has completed her Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (A Central University), Lucknow, U. P., India, in 2019. She has worked on biological approaches for management of plant pathogens to reduce disease severity and improve plant productivity. Her expertise and research interest areas are sustainable agriculture, plant-microbe interaction, plant-stress management, and bioremediation. She has more than six years of research and four years of teaching experience. She has published 15 research articles, 01 Authored book, and 17 book chapters. She was a gold medalist in Post-Graduate program (2007-2009) and awarded University Grant Commission-Junior Research Fellowship (UGC-JRF) in 2013.

Dr. Chetan Keswani is a Group Leader in the Academy of Biology and Biotechnology, Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don, Russia. He has keen interest in regulatory, commercialization and intellectual property aspects of agriculturally important microorganisms in Asia. He is an elected Fellow of the Linnaean Society of London, UK and received Best Ph.D. Thesis Award from the Uttar Pradesh Academy of Agricultural Sciences, India in 2015. He is an editorial board member of several reputed agricultural microbiology journals and has edited ten books on the subject. For his editorial endeavors he was awarded the Publons Top Peer Review Award in Agricultural Sciences (2018), Outstanding Editor Award (2019) by Archives of Phytopathology and Plant Protection, Taylor and Francis, and Springer-Society Award (2020) for excellent contribution to the journal Environmental Sustainability, Springer-Nature. In addition, he has been listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists for the years 2021-24 (Sub-fields: Plant Biology & Botany and Biotechnology).
