"I think that the book is relevant in terms of its contents, treatment of the topics discussed and scope thereof. … I believe that the book will be a great contribution to the need for information on the development of ATN network for designers and engineers developers such networks worldwide."
—Oscar Fernando Pico Ortiz, National University of Colombia

"This book gives an overview of the aeronautical telecommunications network. It provides a good introduction to the reader of the current state of ATNs, the challenges faced in using them in modern times, and the recently proposed advancements in ATN architecture to overcome such challenges. The book does a good job of explaining the basics; anyone with minimal previous knowledge of communication techniques can read the book to understand the state of the art and future direction of ATNs."
