Biography
Kelley J. Donham is Emeritus Professor, Occupational and Environmental Health, College of Public Health, having served as a professor on the faculty from 1973 until 2013. He was born and raised on a farm in Johnson County, Iowa, where he was actively involved in the family farm operation for many years and is still actively involved in agriculture as he owns and manages the 440-acre Pleasant Creek Farm with a colleague. Dr. Kelley obtained a B.S. in Premedical Sciences, and a M.S. in Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health from the University of Iowa, College of Medicine, USA, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University, USA. He practiced veterinary medicine for several years before returning to the University of Iowa as a faculty member in 1973. He achieved the rank of full Professor in 1984.
Dennis J. Murphy is Nationwide Insurance Professor Emiritus at Pennsylvania State University, USA, and founder of Murphy Agricultural Safety Consulting. He retired from the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Penn State in 2017 and was a founder of the Agricultural Safety and Health Council of America (ASHCA) in 2007. He consults nationally and internationally and is a past President of the National Institute for Farm Safety.
