Lewis L. Gould is Eugene C. Barker Centennial Professor Emeritus in American History at the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
Courtney Q. Shah is a history instructor at Lower Columbia College in Washington, USA. Her research interests include the Progressive Era, gender, medicine, race, and sexuality.
