Biography

Laura A. Freberg is a Professor of Psychology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She served as the 2018–2019 President of the Western Psychological Association.

Applied Behavioral Neuroscience contains all the information you would expect from an introductory neuroscience text, but presented in a way that welcomes anyone who is curious about the brain & behavior. With coverage of cutting-edge topics like forensic neuroscience and artificial intelligence, the book represents a shift from basic science towards the critical question "what can I do with that?". It really flips the traditional textbook upside down, shakes it around, and focuses on what students really care about--their future options.’ - Kristin Supe, Lecturer in Psychology, The Ohio State University, USA
