Biography
Dr. Bhagwan Narayan Rekadwad was conferred a Ph.D. for his research on the topic “prokaryotic diversity of hot springs" in 2014. After his postdoc at DBT-NCCS, Pune, he joined "the Oxford of the East”, the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, as an Assistant Professor. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at Yenepoya Research Centre, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangalore, India. Dr. Bhagwan also serves as the Chairman of Scientific Review Board, and an expert for various international and national funding agencies. He is an expert in genome-based Microbial Systematics, Evolutionary Microbiology, and Bioinformatics. He has been consistently ranked on the AD Scientific Index since 2022 (AD Scientific Index ID: 4509536). His work on oil pollution and drug resistance is featured by Nature and Times of India.
