Biography

Anirban Hom Choudhuri is a Senior Critical Care Physician, Teacher, Author, and Researcher. He currently serves as Director-Professor and Head, Department of Critical Care Medicine, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. He has made significant contributions to the fields of critical care through teaching, training, and research. His areas of expertise include hemodynamic monitoring, sepsis management, organ support therapies, and multidisciplinary ICU care. A committed Educator, he actively me tors super-specialty trainees, fostering evidence-based practice and clinical excellence and has been honored with Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan distinguished Professor Award in 2021. He is widely acclaimed for his dedication to advancing critical care standards and improving outcomes for critically ill patients through scientific rigor and compassionate care. He has edited several books including Imaging in Critical Care Medicine, & Interpreting Laboratory Tests in Intensive Care.

Dr. Chhavi Gupta is a distinguished Infectious Disease Physician with over 15 years of experience, she holds dual specialist qualifications in Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. She further advanced her expertise through specialized training in oncology and bone marrow transplant infections at Tata Memorial Hospital. In addition, she has pursued an MBA in Healthcare Management, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics from Indian Institute of Management (IIM).

Currently associated with Yashoda Medicity, a quaternary care hospital and research institute in Delhi NCR, Dr. Gupta plays a pivotal role in managing infectious diseases across critical care, inpatient, and outpatient settings. An accomplished academician and researcher, Dr. Gupta has authored more than 30 scientific publications, including original studies, reviews, case reports, and book chapters. With an H-index of 10 and nearly 200 citations, her work has made significant contributions to the fields of infectious diseases and clinical microbiology. She is an active member of several prestigious national and international professional societies, including the European Society of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases, Clinical Infectious Disease Society of India, American Society for Microbiology, and International Society for Human and Animal Mycology (ISHAM).

Her contributions to healthcare have been recognized through several honors and awards. Dr. Gupta continues to be actively engaged in clinical excellence, research, medical education, and healthcare innovation, with a strong commitment to improving infectious disease care and patient outcome
