Biography

Arti Gupta, Ph.D., earned her Ph.D. in Animal Science from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University in Bareilly, India, in 2010. Dr. Gupta’s current research interests include animal biotechnology, molecular plant biotechnology, molecular animal biotechnology, bioprocess technology, and microbiology. Since July 2014, she has been serving at Shri Avadh Raj Singh Smarak Degree College in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, India, where she is also engaged in editorial work.
With 13 years of teaching and research experience in Plant and Animal Biotechnology and Microbial Biotechnology, Dr. Gupta has received several awards, including the University Topper (Gold Medal) for her M.Sc. in Biotechnology, the Young Scientist Award (Gold Medal), Best Poster Presenter, and the Dr. V.P. Agarwal Award (Gold Medal).
Dr. Gupta has contributed extensively to academia, with two monographs, 17 edited books published by various international publishers, 13 book chapters, and approximately 52 national and international research papers. She holds lifetime memberships in the Indian Science Congress Association, the Biotech Research Society of India, the Zoological Society of India, and the International Consortium of Contemporary Biologists. Additionally, she serves on several editorial boards.
Previously, Dr. Gupta was a member of the Teaching Personnel at G.B. Pantnagar University in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, India, and served as a Visiting Academic Researcher at the Biorefining and Advanced Material Research Center (BAMRC) at Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC), University of Edinburgh, in the United Kingdom.

Ram Prasad, Ph.D., is associated with the Department of Botany, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, Bihar, India. His research interests include applied and environmental microbiology, plant–microbe interactions, sustainable agriculture, and nanobiotechnology. Dr. Prasad has more than 300 publications to his credit, including research papers, review articles, and book chapters, and seven patents issued or pending, and has edited or authored several books. He has guided one postdoc, two M.Phil, nine Ph.D., and several master dissertation students. Dr. Prasad has 15 years of teaching/research experience and has been awarded the Sir CV Raman Scientist Award, the Young Scientist Award, and Prof. J.S. Datta Munshi Gold Medal by the International Society for Ecological Communications; Fellow of the World Academy of Productive Science (FWAPS); Fellowship of the Association of Fungal Biologists (FAFB); Fellow of Agricultural Technology Development Society (FATDS); Fellow of Biotechnology Research Society of India (FBRS); Fellow of the Society for Applied Biotechnology (FSAB); the American Cancer Society UICC International Fellowship for Beginning Investigators, USA; Outstanding Scientist Award in the field of Microbiology; BRICPL Science Investigator Award; Research Excellence Award, etc. He has been serving as a member of several editorial boards. Previously, Dr. Prasad served as Assistant Professor at Amity University Uttar Pradesh, India; Visiting Assistant Professor, Whiting School of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, United States, and Research Associate Professor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Sun Yat‑sen University, Guangzhou, China.
